Audrey
Name: Audrey
Occupation: Steam Witch
Pronouns: She/They
Charismatic and thoughtful, but highly impatient and stubborn, Audrey is an extremely complicated girl that not even she can summarize fully. Tightly bound to her sense of morality and justice, Audrey will go to lengths some would describe as ludicrous to achieve her goals. Indecision and inaction frustrates Audrey to her very core, and this has given her a very "jump before you look" outlook on life and the many challenges it brings to her. While this philosophy regarding decision making has earned Audrey plenty of trouble (and criticism from her peers), it has ensured that, in times of disillusionment and heartbreak, she and those close to her never lose sight of who they are and their purpose.
Originally classified as male and being put to work as a boiler technician, Audrey never found much satisfaction in her work. She wished she could be something beyond just a simple technician, being able to do more good than just repairing boilers. Her fortunes would change in a rather unexpected way, when she saved her coworkers from a haywire boiler, in the process being gravely injuired. For her heroism, she was inducted into a coven of Steam Witches, gaining the ability to wield magic and being rebuilt with a new feminine body! Following the discovery of a robot twin who she named Maya, the two embarked on a journey to explore the galaxy and do some good along the way, even if some individuals have something to say about it.
Trivia
- Audrey's eyes change from their normal sapphire blue to bright orange to red if she's getting more angry/frustrated
- Audrey sometimes falls out of her and Maya's bunk bed in the morning
- During her free time, Audrey loves watching trains. No one really knows why.
- Before her accident, Audrey wanted to become a great and powerful leader. Following her rebuild, her aspirations have largely mellowed out, with her admitting she's not really cut out for leadership. Complementing her leadership will cause her to blush and furiously deny the complement, usually followed by trying to direct the complement to Maya, who only backs up the complement being directed to Audrey instead.
