If you were to take one glance at Lily then look away for even a second, it is very likely Lily would be gone upon looking back. An extremely shy 17 year old Kandoran, Lily was always the odd one out amongst her peers in the Kandor Forest. While her peers may have taken their duties as witches much more leniently, Lily would be the one student who immersed herself in books and literature regarding her duties. This resulted in Lily becoming a social outcast, contributing to her shyness and closed-off demeanor. Those few who can succesfully peer through her shell will find a soft-spoken but well-meaning and knowledgable girl who has a strong affinity for her magical abilities, being able to heal the injuired and strengthen plant life around her. While this side of Lily is rare of her to show, it comes out most when she is with those who she trusts most, particularly Melody, who she is the most open toward.

Born and raised in the hyper-isolationist Kandor Forest, Lily was taught to fear outsiders of the forest at a young age. All outsiders, she was told, were brutal savages who only left destruction in their wake, which was why contact with the outside world was strictly forbidden, and anyone caught doing so would be permanently exiled. As her luck would have it, she found a critically injuired outsider near the barrier of the Forest. Despite knowing the consequences, Lily chose to bring the outsider in. Using her magic, Lily would heal the gravely injuired outsider, who revealed herself to be Melody. Melody stayed in Lily's care for several more days as she recovered, during which she witnessed Lily slowly open up more and more, becoming Lily's first real friend. Alas, Lily's actions were eventually discovered, and both her and Melody were permanently exiled from the Forest. Lily was heartbroken, blaming herself for getting exiled, while Melody comforted her friend and assured her that what Lily did was the right thing.

Lily and Melody would eventually find refuge at a nearby trading village, where they would spend the night before making their next move. While in front of a campfire, Lily sprouted a small flower and gave it to Melody. The charmed Melody gushed about it, and gave Lily a small kiss on the cheek. Lily was overwhelmed with emotion, passing out as a result. From this moment onward, the two grew closer than ever, with Lily in particular embracing Melody as the first person who loved her for who she truly was.
